The A-Graded standard

The first skincare graded A before it ships.

We graded 500+ products and most are overpriced, underdosed, or full of filler. So we defined the opposite: a single product that scores an A on the exact same public engine that grades the whole field — built by a real manufacturer, graded by us, and confirmed by an independent lab before a drop of it ships. We don't make the jar. We set the bar, and we put our own name on the line if it isn't met.

A93 / 100

What an A actually looks like

Not a mystery. Here is the founders' formula — three actives, each at a clinically meaningful dose. Run it through our public rubric yourself and you get the same letter.

Niacinamide 10% Azelaic Acid 10% Tranexamic Acid 3%

Targets the #1 concern — uneven tone and dark marks — with three of the best-tolerated, most-studied actives in skincare. No fragile vitamin C, no retinoid sting, no $90 price tag. The grade rests on the dosing alone (formulation tier), so there is nothing to take on faith. A-grade efficacy, drugstore honesty.

Founders' Drop

Reserve your spot — nothing is made until the demand is real.

This is a reservation, not a pre-sale. We don't make a single unit, and we don't charge a single card, until enough people raise their hand. Your reservation is the proof that recruits a manufacturer to build it to this exact A-grade spec, under our seal. That's how a great product gets made without a loan, a raise, or a warehouse of inventory anyone has to gamble on.

Founding window open · drop unlocks by Aug 31

No charge today. No commitment. We email you the moment it earns the seal — with founders' pricing.

Refundable, alwaysIf a paid deposit option opens, it's only charged if the drop clears its goal — and refunded in full, every cent, if it doesn't.
All-or-nothingBelow the goal by the deadline, nothing is made and nothing is owed. Customer cash never funds dead inventory.
Graded, not hypedIt only ships under the seal if it scores an A on the public engine and clears an independent lab. Miss either, and there's no drop.

How the critic can have a favorite without cheating

Visage Theory's whole worth is that it takes no money to move a grade. So we don't sell our own jar — that would be the restaurant critic reviewing his own restaurant. Instead we license the "Visage A-Graded" seal to a manufacturer who makes, owns, and ships the product, and we grade it on the identical public rubric as all 500+ products here. You can't pay to move the grade: pass and fail cost the same, the letter is computed from the open rubric, and the seal is only issued behind an independent lab report that confirms the active and the dose are really in the bottle. Re-run the rubric on the same ingredient list and you get the same A. Where we earn a license fee, it's stated on the product's verification page. The engine can't be told to like a paying brand more than its rivals.

How the drop works

1

Reserve free. The counter shows real, growing demand.

2

Goal hit → a manufacturer builds it to the public A-grade spec.

3

It's graded on the live engine + an independent lab COA — on camera.

4

Founders ship first, at founders' pricing. Miss the bar → no drop, full refunds.

Make skincare? License the seal.

If you build a formula that scores an A on the public engine and clears an independent lab, you can carry the Visage A-Graded seal — the scarce tier above Verified. Flat annual fee, no per-unit cut, the relationship disclosed on your public page. The grade is earned, never bought.
